Peru Joins the IAAS

It is in this context that Dr. Alejandro Langberg La Rosa, President of APCACE, and Alejandro Langberg Bacigalupo, Quality Manager of MEDAVAN, the leading Ambulatory Surgery Center in Peru, have been invited to participate as representatives of the Peruvian Association in the IAAS General Assembly, currently made up of 45 select members from different countries with solid experience and global significance in the field.
Likewise, the managers of MEDAVAN, Rodrigo and Alejandro Langberg, travelled to the city of Oslo, Norway, in the month of May of this year to attend as speakers at the IAAS 15th International Congress on Ambulatory Surgery where they gave a presentation about the situation, progress and challenges of outpatient surgery in Peru.
This trip was also used by the Peruvian delegation to visit different autonomous units and
ambulatory surgery centers in countries in the region such as Norway, Portugal and Spain and thus learn more about the advances in ambulatory surgery on the European continent.
“We are very proud to belong to the IAAS and to be able to relate very closely with those who lead the development of outpatient surgery around the world. All these experiences allow us to continue improving, promoting and strengthening outpatient surgery in Peru,” said Alejandro

Langberg Bacigalupo.
